The whole internet collaborated and couldn’t find what this is. I’m not sure what this is, ninety percent of people don’t know too…

The whole internet searched together but was unable to identify what this was. I have no idea what this is, and neither do 90% of others.

Clackers, often referred to as lik-Klaks, were a hit in the 1970s and are still a collector’s favorite among old toys. The toy is made up of two plastic balls that are strung together. There is a loud “clacking” sound made when the balls are swung back and forth.

The toy was created in 1969 by Wham-O, a toy business. Other well-known toys made by the business include the Superball, Frisbee, and Hula Hoop. The company sold over 10 million Toy Clackers in its first year of release because they were that popular.

Later on, the item was outlawed in numerous locations because of safety concerns. It was stated that a few of the plastic balls broke, sending pieces flying and hurting children. Later, the company produced a safer-material version of the toy, but it never gained the same level of popularity as the original.

Toy Clackers continue to be a favorite among enthusiasts and those who remember using them as kids. For some who are fortunate enough to own a pair, the vintage toy is a throwback to simpler times that they still find enjoyable.
